Affordable Homes

The Mayor has announced a £1.7bn deal between City Hall and local authorities and housing associations to start building 50,000 affordable homes over the next four years. The money has been allocated to bidders from the £3.15bn affordable homes fund secured by the Mayor from the Government in November last year. New homes are due to be built in all 32 boroughs and the City of London. The City Corporation has been allocated £14,640,000 to provide 244 affordable homes.
