Applications for the 2017-18 Guildhall Creative Entrepreneurs Scheme are now open. The scheme, which is run by the School and social enterprise Cause4 is a business incubator offering enterprise training, mentoring and funding support to aspiring entrepreneurs in the performing arts and creative industries. Since 2013, the scheme has incubated over 30 creative entrepreneurs with over 90% of entrepreneurs still operational in the creative industries. The Open Day takes place on 3 May and the applications closing date is 6 July.
The last month has seen the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) embark on an extensive tour of the Far East. The Orchestra was honoured to open the tour with the inaugural concert of the British Council’s 2017 UK-Korea Year of Culture on 20 February in Seoul, supported by HSBC.
