This year City in Bloom is supporting the City of London Corporation’s Low Emission Neighbourhood (LEN) to improve local air quality and create a more liveable and greener neighbourhood.
For the ‘clean and green for seventeen’ challenge Friends of City Gardens are asking residents, community groups and businesses to make a difference to their local area by designing and installing a planting scheme. The aim of the challenge is to contribute towards improving local air quality, raise awareness of air pollution and support the RHS ‘Greening Grey Britain’ campaign. City in Bloom is an annual campaign organised by Friends of City Gardens and supported by City Corporation. For more information and to enter by 31 March please visit the City of London website.
