The City of London Corporation has received licensing applications as follows:-
· Traditional Pure, 51 Queen Victoria Street, EC4N 4SF, in the ward of Cordwainer. To permit the provision of late night refreshment between 11.00 and 05.00 Monday to Sunday. The last day for the receipt of objections is 25th June 2009.
· Lloyds Club, 42 Crutched Friars, EC3N 2AP, in the ward of Tower. To permit the sale and supply of alcohol from 11.00 – 23.00 Monday to Friday. The premises will operate as a private members club and will not open to the general public. The last day for the receipt of objections is 29th June 2009.
· CB Richard Ellis, 10 Paternoster Row (St Martins Court), EC4M 7HP, in the ward of Bread Street. To permit the sale and supply of alcohol from 08.00 – 0.00 Monday to Sunday; to provide regulated entertainment, namely recorded music, during opening hours, and to permit the provision of late night refreshment until 0.00 Monday to Sunday. The premises are corporate offices and licensed facilities will be provided to staff and guests only at corporate functions. The last day for the receipt of objections is 30th June 2009.
· Standard Chartered Bank, 1 Basinghall Avenue, EC2V 5DD, in the ward of Bassishaw. To permit the sale and supply of alcohol from 07.30 – 0.00 Monday to Sunday; to provide regulated entertainment, namely films, indoor sports events, live and recorded music, and the provision of dancing, during opening hours, and to permit the provision of late night refreshment until 05.00 Monday to Sunday. The premises are only open to employees and guests of the licence holder. The general public will not be admitted. The last day for the receipt of objections is 2nd July 2009.
· Be At One (formerly City Limits), 16-18 Brushfield Street, E1 6AN, in the ward of Bishopsgate. To extend the terminal hour for alcohol sales to 02.00 Thursday to Saturday (currently 01.00); to extend the terminal hour for recorded music and late night refreshment until 01.00 Sunday to Wednesday & until 02.00 Thursday to Saturday (currently midnight); to remove conditions 1-6 (Annex 2) which carried over from the conversion of the licence under the 1964 Act. The last day for the receipt of objections is 8th July 2009.
· Café Kick (formerly Dry Bar), 13-17 Long Lane, EC1A 9PN, in the ward of Farringdon Within. To extend the terminal hour for licensable activities to 01.00 Monday to Wednesday (currently midnight). NB the terminal hour will be reduced to 02.00 Thursday to Saturday (currently 03.00); to permit licensable activities on Sundays between the hours of 10.00 – 00.00; to vary the layout and design of the premises in accordance with deposited plan 0011_110. The last day for the receipt of objections is 7th July 2009.
· The Thames Festival, Southwark Bridge, EC4, in the ward of Vintry. To permit the sale and supply of alcohol from 12.00 – 22.00 on the Saturday of the festival; and to provide regulated entertainment, namely live and recorded music and the performance and provision of dance, from 12.00 – 22.00 on the Saturday of the festival. This licence will operate on Saturday 12th September 2009 ONLY. The last day for the receipt of objections is 24th June 2009.
· The Place Below, St Mary-le-Bow Church, Cheapside, EC2V 6AU, in the ward of Cordwainer. To permit the sale and supply of alcohol from 11.00 – 22.00 Monday to Sunday. The last day for the receipt of objections is 6th July 2009.
This notice is for information only, but an objection to an application can be made by a responsible authority such as the Police or Fire Brigade or a person or organisation residing or working in the area of the premises concerned. Anyone wishing to oppose the applications must give notice in writing to the Town Clerk specifying the grounds of opposition.
