Since we were elected Councilman Fernandes and I have made it our priority to ensure that Coleman Street gets the policing that it needs.
That is what we were very happy to meet PC Daniel O'Mahony and PCSO John "Chopper" Chapman at the end of November. Both PC O'Mahony and PCSO Chapman are newly assigned to the ward and we were pleased to discuss City policing with them.
They will both be touring the Ward to meet all the local businesses and get to know the faces. Please if you see them in the street say hello, they are a friendly pair.
Following that meeting I met with Chief Superintendent Burgess to discuss stategic policing in Coleman Street. It has been agreed that in the New Year Sophie and I will be putting out a survey relating to policing in the ward. We would be very grateful for any and all responses. Remember: we can only represnt you if you tell us what you want. |
