Gresham College is pleased to announce the release of the new programme for 2016/17. From 13 September 2016 to 22 June 2017, Gresham College will host 126 lectures, with 10 main Professors and 5 Visiting Professors. Gresham College welcomes a new Professor of Law, Jo Delahunty QC and a new Professor of Geometry, Chris Budd. We also invite leading academics from a range of different fields to give one-off lectures throughout the year. Amongst the vast array of lectures, Dr Richard Serjeantson will deliver a talk entitled ‘Thomas More’s Magnificent Utopia’, Professor Alexander Klein, a Fulbright Scholar from Long Beach California, will speak on ‘The Curious Case of the Decapitated Frog’ and Dr William Harrop-Griffiths from the Royal College of Anaesthetists will lecture on ‘The History of Local Anaesthesia’. The last Mondays at One series will be called ‘Maritime Archaeology’, it runs through October 2016 and will take place at the Museum of London at 1pm.
