At the City Bridge Trust annual dinner on 18 October, Chairman Alderman Alison Gowman formally launched the Trust’s next Strategic Review. This review will inform the Trust’s funding strategy for 2018 to 2023, ensuring that it stays relevant and alive to the changing needs of Londoners. This process began in May 2015, when the City Bridge Trust Committee fully endorsed and supported the process outlined for the review by David Farnsworth, Chief Grants Officer.
The vision for the review shows the Trust’s collective commitment for it to be anchored to the needs of London and undertaken in a collaborative and transparent way. The Trust has recently appointed Sufina Ahmad as Head of Strategic Review, on secondment from the Big Lottery Fund. She will be assisted by a Project Steering Group, formed of experienced charitable funding sector figures. To inform the review, the Trust will be meeting with a number of stakeholders, including City Corporation Officers and Members, over the coming weeks. Members of the City Bridge Trust committee have already taken part in a Strategic Away Half Day and there will be further events in due course. All queries relating to the review should be directed to Sufina Ahmad. For more information please visit the City Bridge Trust website.
